Virgz Magallanes: Virginia Magallanes is a journalist who covers the justice and Manila beat in the Philippines. She is a political science and law graduate from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos. Born a Tagala, raised as an Ilongga and presently residing as a Caviteña. She is a Gemini according to her horoscope sign, writer by profession, and falls under the Year of the Dog under the Chinese calendar. In the past, she has been actively involved in legal researching and worked as a commentator in a local radio station in her hometown. She also served as a student leader in her university for four years. Today, writing is her main passion. She is a proud writer of Essays.ph. and Noypi,ph and other online sites. Virgz is a "survivor.mom.fighter" all rolled into one.
